On Saturday, July 10th, the SoCal TPI Organization will be having a potluck picnic at Craig Park in Brea, from 11am until 4pm.
Craig Park is located at 3300 State College Blvd, in Fullerton, CA 92835. The major cross streets are State College Blvd and Imperial Hwy, off the 57 freeway. Admission is $5 per car, each time you enter. http://www.ocparks.com/craigpark/
Kevin will be reserving a location for us near Shelter 2.
Please post what you can bring. Suggestion include hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, salad, drinks, plates, utensils, napkins, cups, etc. If you have a portable canopy like an EZ-UP, please bring it. Also bring your own folding chairs to sit on.

SCTPI June meeting a success
Thank you to all 14 people in attendance at the SCTPI June 12th meeting at Spiro's Cafe in Orange. We had several new faces as well as the usual group of great people who make it fun to be a thirdgen owner.
We showed the video of the cruise and drag racing from the Los Angeles Invasion event, May 29-30th. Allan was especially proud of his 12.09 ET as he reset his record for fastest n/a 350 TPI. That coveted 11 second ET is only a nice day away.
Next the topic turned to the our next event, a potluck bar-b-q and picnic at Craig Park in Brea. The entrance is near the corner of State College and Imperial Highway. This allows Kevin to opportunity to get there early and reserve a spot, as well as invite everyone to come to his place afterwards to swim in the pool and continue the day's fun. The date of this event is Saturday July 10th, from 11am to 4pm, with the event continuing at his place around the corner into the evening.
We then discussed having a cruise thru the Inland Empire in August, either starting in Idylwild and heading North to Morongo Casino, or if the weather is too hot, heading South to Penchanga Casino in Temecula. The date and details will be finalized in the coming weeks.
Our annual favorite cruise up to Don's lodge in Big Bear will be happening again in late September, with a new twist. Instead of stopping at the Alpine Slide, we will head to The Bowling Barn for a couple hours of 10-pin bowling. After that, Logonita Lodge will treat us to unlimited hamburgers and hot dogs, and the cruise down the mountain might end with a stop at A&W for a root beer float.
Our meeting concluded with a mention that our next meeting will be either August 21st or 28th, depending on when our special guest speaker can make it. The location will be determined, as we decided to meet at a different restaurant the next time.

SoCal TPI Organization Meeting Saturday June 12th

Welcome to the Southern California Tuned Port Injection Organization
The SoCal Tuned Port Injection Organization was founded by father and son team Don and Kevin Lorentzen as a way to further promote and advance the Tuned Port Injection engine. We are a fun, friendly group of people who want to get together and share our love for the 85-92 Camaro, Trans Am, and Corvette, as well as other vehicles of all years who have been converted to Tuned Port Injection.
